We are pleased to invite you to a concert dedicated entirely to two premieres that combine instrumental music and live electronics.

The first work brings the long time collaboration between Meira Asher and Eran Sachs, a duo of highly active musicians/sound artists within the local and international scene. The duo makes use of extreme vocal and sound practices along with analog and digital electronics.

The duo Asher.Zax deals with aspects of sound and text in the connection with trauma/body/political-bodies/pain at the very basic level of human existence. The piece BOROT comes here as the third part in a trilogy. The work deals with colonialism in its various forms, its current part dedicated to the water crisis in Gaza. It aims to carry the text by poet Tal Nitzán, via the North Indian Dhrupad discipline, to new extremes.

We are happy to host Raimund Engelhardt (Berlin) on Pakhawaj/Tabla to collaborate with us in this performance along with the ensemble.

The second work, extroverted internalization by Adi Snir is dedicated to the creation of spaces born of the subtleties heard from within musical instruments. The work utilizes a loudspeaker environment surrounding the audience to create a moving space, fed from the living interior of the instrument bodies. The work considers a change of perspective as an attempt to give voice to the inaudible.
